Technology by Design PC Standard Warranty
Your Technology by Design PC Standard Warranty only covers your internal hardware system. Your hardware system is the computer 'itself' and any components pre-built inside the computer. Technology by Design does not warrant any peripherals such as monitor, keyboard, mouse or speakers purchased through Technology by Design. Technology by Design does not warrant the operating system, applications, utilities and/or games not produced specifically by Technology by Design.
Under this Standard Warranty, Technology by Design warrants that your Technology by Design hardware system will remain free of defects for three years from the date your Technology by Design computer is shipped.
Technology by Design will replace or repair, at Technology by Design's sole discretion, any defects in your hardware system during the applicable warranty period. Technology by Design will incur the cost of labor, parts and 'return' shipping to the purchaser for any defect to the hardware system. It is the purchaser's responsibility to pay for shipping the Technology by Design computer system to Technology by Design for repair. Return of the hardware system for repair does not extend the Standard Warranty beyond the original three years.
Exclusions to Technology by Design Warranties
Your warranty does not cover the following:
Damage caused during shipping. If you think your hardware system has been damaged during shipping please notify us within 24 hours of delivery. Please take photographs, digitally if possible, and send them to us. We will make every effort to restore/repair your Technology by Design computer to full working status via our technical support phone representatives, or have you ship the PC back to us for a claim with the carrier.
Normal wear and tear of your hardware system. Examples include, but are not limited to wiring, fans, lighting or paint finish (beyond initial acceptance by purchaser).
Loss of data on your Technology by Design computer system (beyond initial acceptance by the purchaser).
Damage to your Technology by Design computer system due to electrical storms, power surges, electrical modifications or any other connections to any other computer component or source made to your system by you or anyone other than an authorized Technology by Design service representative.
Damage to your Technology by Design system due to Acts of God, Acts of Disaster, Acts of Vandalism or Acts of Terrorism.
EXCEPT FOR THE WARRANTIES EXPRESSED HEREIN, TECHNOLOGY BY DESIGN DOES NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY BEYOND THE REMEDIES PROVIDED FOR IN THE BODY OF THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT.
Contacting Technology by Design for Service/Repair Issues
If you need servicing for your Technology by Design hardware system please contact us at 1-800-840-9989 and ask for a support technician. A Technology by Design support technician will help you identify the problem with your system and either remedy the problem over the phone or give you the necessary information on how to return the system to Technology by Design for repair. Technology by Design will repair your system within a reasonable timeframe and return the system to you via Technology by Design's standard shipping procedures.
Shipping Information
Technology by Design's standard warranty-related shipping is UPS ground, insured. Technology by Design will offer alternative shipping methods and couriers at the purchaser's request, at an additional cost to the purchaser.
Damaged Product
Any Technology by Design shipped products that are received physically damaged must be reported to Technology by Design within 24 hours. Please take photographs, digital if possible, and send them to us. Please keep all packaging material. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to file the shipping damage claim with the carrier. Failure to file a claim expeditiously may result in an unsuccessful claim with the carrier and a charge to the customer for the replacement of the damaged product.
Technical Support
Technology by Design will provide free technical support before and after customer purchase of Technology by Design products. Technology by Design cannot provide support if the customer has modified the Technology by Design hardware system or modified the operating system purchased through Technology by Design.
What Is The Return Policy?
The return policy on our computers is thirty (30) days from the date of purchase. If you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact us within the thirty (30) day time period, and we will issue you a refund minus a 15% restocking fee.
